That Peugoet Ad

Just saw it the other day.

I guess crusing the strips crosses all cultural bounds!!!

This is the best ad i've seen for a long time!!

Maybe Ford should run a similar campaign with the Falcon, Neighbor A pulls up in new BA, neighbor B looks at his VY with a sad look, goes into the garage, hammers, welds night and day at his Holden...only days later after much blood sweat and tears, he produces a Ford!!!

Now that would be a good laugh!

The ad has been around for a while but seems to have only just made on to Australian screens.

Download ad at: http://users.tce.rmit.edu.au/e41821/206ad.mpeg

Should you wish to get hold of the cruising music try searching for Raja Mushtaq - The Sculptor on Kazaa, found it yesterday when I was mucking around finding out some more about the ad.

Haven't seen it on TV, but made use of the broadband at work and checked it out....

Yeah a Ford ad like that would be pretty funny.....

I've had that ad on my computer at work for several months now. I've been wanting to play it on the forums ever since seeing it.

The only trouble is that it's over 2meg, just a bit too big. I've watched it hundreds of times, never fails to bring a smile to my face!

Having been to India a year ago, the little 'head wobble' makes me laugh just in itself.

Yes, I loved it when I saw it on TV, thanks Brendan for the link.

Simon....

Like others on this forum I had it on my computer a few months ago, however I only recently saw it at the cinema (Lord of The Ring - The Two Towers) and the entire cinema laughed at it.

I know its a direct copy, but yeah neighbour beating their VY into BA shape (obviously still looking beaten up BA - can't have commodore owners thinking that the VY is as good mechanically as the BA) would be a good ad ;-)

45,000km service coming up - and i'll be asking for a sizable list of fixes:
* Gearbox (3rd time)
* Steering click (5th time)
* Brake Shudder (2nd time, and has the applied "Fix")
* etc...
