Thought I'd share a couple of pics I took at the Philip Island historic races which were held the same day as the FPV Family Day.
Note: I've removed the pics from the Gallery, so if you want to see them PM me and I can email them to you.

Genuine Ford GT40, with Ferrari GTO in the background. Behind the GT40 is a Ferrari 250 GT and behind that is a Ferrari Daytona.

The Ferrari 250 GTO ready to go out and race, yes that's right a $10m car being driven in anger!

A 69 Boss Mustang heading for the track. This was an immaculate car, however you can see some damage to the rear which was the result of a rather large off-track excursion at Honda Corner. Not much damage in the end, luckily.

This is the engine of one of the four 1934 ERA grand prix cars that were at the island. Two of the cars raced and easily won their category. The wailing scream of the supercharger as they came down the straight was just incredible. 2 litre supercharged six cylinder.

The start of the over 3L Group N race on Sunday afternoon.
Well that's 5 pics, all I could fit in the gallery allowance. I have another 30 or so shots, some of racing action, some of the more interesting cars which were there, including (in no particular order):
Brabham BT19 (Jack Brabham championship car)
Bizzarini Strada
Lola T70
Jaguar D-type (Ecurie Ecosse)
1951 Kurtis Offy "Robbins Special"
Ferrari Dino 206 SP (sports racing car, not the normal road car)
TVR Griffith (289 V8 in a car with a wheelbase just over 7ft)
Iso Grifo
HDT Group C Toranas
Ferrari Daytona
1965 Shelby Mustang GT350
Group C Falcon XD (Army Reserve car)
More Group N Mustangs and Falcon GTs...
PS, anyone got any tips as to how I can get more pics in? They're jpeg & the first 3 are straight from the camera, the next 2 I reduced in size - is there anything else I can do?
