Well, I decided to stay back at work (quite rare for me) and view the eclipse from our roof. Here's a couple of pics I took.

The first I took before the eclipse happened and before I adjusted my cameras exposure and aperture settings.

The chap in the footage is on the phone explaining to his girldfriend why he's on the roof violating Occupation Health & Safety Guidelines.

Damn, my eyes hurt after doing all that!

good job! i meant to see it, but i was at work as well - only i wasnt standing on the roof unfortunately...

I was equipped for the eclipse. Got a pair of oxy welding goggles with two tinted lenses in each eye. Could see it all perfectly. I'm spewin I decided against watching from the roof of my house because I missed the last few minutes of it due to the sun being too low on the horizon..
