howdy pardners, just joined the board and been browsing the members gallery finding some beautiful looking machines that i have never seen before.
i would appreciate any brief info on the sportiest models, i think ive seen an XR8 Gt-p or somthing which is stunning! we dont have many cars like that over here in the UK, although i think the Holden GTS? is on very limited availability.
ill attatch a pic of my cars, they are fiesta's not sure if you know of them but they are small hatchbacks, my daily driver (silver) is a base model which i have fitted with an XR2 (top spec sports model) engine 1600cc appox 100bhp and all the other modifications i need to go and stop faster as well as parts of a quite rare Rallye Sport bodykit, the red one is abit more interesting, this is/was an XR2 but the engine has been replaced with a Ford Escort RS Turbo engine (1600cc T3 turbo), which has been tuned to approx 200bhp, it is stripped out inside with a single bucket seat and is for track use, although i plan to use it as a daily driver when i can afford to. i have a modified bumper off a later edition of the fiesta on the front.
cheers,
Chris

as for what my garage looks like! well i dont actually have one! i have just finished my first year of university and where i live im lucky to have a driveway! i share a shed with my housemates, needless to say its dominated with fiesta parts!
On the 20th of this month i am taking the turbo'd fiesta to "The XR2 Thrash" which is an event being organised by FordSport, a UK club. It will be covered by Performance Ford magazine so ill be famous! hehe I cant wait, i know most of the people going so it should be a great day. The cars are being tested on 0-60MPH 0-100MPH 1/4Mile and top speed. The turbo has done a 13.97 quarter mile by the person that previously owned it, hopefully i will be able to do a respectable time!
cheers.
Chris
