Mmmmm, Turbo surge thru the Auto would feel great..slap her up another gear!
Is it just me or does the VY front, while not looking offensive, looks rather "plain"...SV8 more so than SS. Rear still looks Lancer/Magna while making the car look tapered.

i have to admit that the SS is growing on me. the SV8 is ugly, the grill is way to oversize and the bumper design isnt very nice. i wouldnt say the SS is ugly, just different and not a very cohesive design, but i can understand why Holden went this way in their design. look at Astra, Vectra and Barina then look at VX Commodore and there is no family resemblence. the VY is looking more like it isnt the adopted child in the family (well actually the others are adopted) i doubt the next Commodore is going to look very nice if it is styled over the new Vectra and Astra cos they are very ugly. i like both VY SS and all BAs, but the BAs are much nicer. the whole car is such a good design, nothing looks out of place and its the car i'll be making my dad get for his next company car, hopefully XR6 na, XR6t, Fairmont or Fairmont Ghia and it better be black :->

How much does that last shot of the VY make it look like a Matchbox car?

Meanwhile that XR6T is looking seriously nice.... Could that black be any glossier? And look at that engine bay!

Putting bias aside....I like the official studio shot of the VY. However now seeing both in broad daylight out in the real world, The VY is very poor. The bonnet, lights and grille just don't mesh well, the same goes for the back.

I'm not meaning to be biased, but hat front grill looks like crap in the first picture. I looks too high, small, and only there for the novelty of having it. In short I think that the VY looks like a bad Photoshop. Sorry.

How dull does the paint on those VY's look in comparison to the XR6T ?? That SV8 looks like it's 10 years old !!! All bias aside ofcourse !!

Ha ha...what has Holden done with the VY? It looks terrible, a real nothing compared to the Barra. The VY looks very out of proportion or something, it just doesn't seem to splice very well...with the smooth side, and angular front and back. Not good, Holden, not good.

i must say i liek the front of the VY SS..very aggressive IMO..the back is just NQR.....but the BA looks very well finished
