Over the last 8 weeks two of my friends have been killed on the roads as pedestrains. The last one it was on friday night it was raining and she was crossing at an intersection.... I guess the car didn't see her until the last seconds. As any of you who have lost anyone would know, this is an enormous strain on family, friends and the community of the victim; not to mention the poor person who has hit them.
So please be careful around school zones, even before and after them. It just not worth not caring. :(

Sorry to hear about your friends. That's gotta be tough.
There were a stack of smashes over the w/e with the latest bout of rain. My parents on their way home from Goulburn passed several crash sites including a nasty head on with a power pole.
Speeding especially round school areas is plain dumb.

Rain is a major factor to motor accident, unfortunally drivers do not know how to ajust. Some drive the same, others feel driving very slow is safer.
Well one was near a school in the morning

Sorry to hear about the loss of your two friends ford.boy. Our family has also had road accident tragedy in the last week with my daughter having lost two of her young friends aged 5 and 17, and another 14 year old boy is still in hospital and has just come out of a drug induced coma as he had severe fluid on the brain, as well as other multiple injuries.
All three boys in the one car, not related, being driven home by friends...wet weather was also a factor in this instance. Unfortunatly, these accidents happen, but it doesn't help the loved ones and friends left behind with their grief.
Just know that you are not alone with your sorrow and pain
