Explorer Sport-Trac, sells for slightly cheaper than a Explorer so it could probably sell here for $40k?




What about the Lightning? Maybe a limited run of 100-200? Say around $60-70k?

I think that's all we'll be able to do Martin. I'd replace Explorer Sport-Trac with R5 ute..:thumbup: :thumbup:
Be interesting to see how a lightning would sell up against a T-Series ute.. :confused:

Isn't the Sport-Trac chassis based on the previous generation Explorer, which was more prone to tiping over?

As mentioned above, swap the sport-trac with our fantastic R5! Can you imagine the R5 with the DOHC 5.4L..

Would be great to see the Lightning in FTE showrooms, but I think the chances are pretty slim.

Yes it is, the 2001 Explorer 2- door sport is also based on the previous chassies and from what I have heard the're not impressive machinery. Go to
www.copartfinder.com and type in 90210 for the zip code, then search for 2001 Explorer and you will see plenty of them with caved in roofs.:D

Yeah id rather the R5 ute too, but it isnt confirmed so who knows if we'll get it or not.

Plus vehicles dont rollover on their own, they only ever do it when theres a driver behind the wheel!

Yeh, they're definitely a big, bad and bruising ute (truck to the Yanks).Bloody quick also. Fancy an Effie outrunning a HSV Commie or an XR8. Amazing.
