Police chase yesterday

Yesterday at Princess HW just about St George Hospital, a small 2 door car almost doing 150kh ,that was around 11 pm. And here they come, few seconds afterwards.First ,an XR8 weewaa and another SS weewaa .Follow them a forte and then a commodore, all cops.

Did anyone see that?they were close to a curve just before King's George and if anyone of them had a speed >100 he won't make it.Hope no one got hurt!!
Police job is the hardest one!And for the money they get, it's not worth the risks!!!

Oh yeah, the XR8 was ahead of the SS: BWAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
same was for the forte and executive

Thats happened before a couple of years later... they pulled over a guy. Left the engine running (standard procedure). The cops approach the offending vehicle and surprise surprise some cocky (whos been watching the whole thing) runs out of the RSL and takes off with the cop car!! From memory it was an AU1 XR8 i think ... they found it a couple of days later burnt out with all the equipement missing. Ive got the article "SOMEWHERE"...

Like cops havent got a harder job as it is!!! Personally i wouldnt be game myself. Although it would be nice to drive a police modified XR8.

Curious.. anyone know how much modified Police XR's are??
As in, what changes do they make??? I have heard a number of
times about ex-police XR's from auctions that go like stink!

Hey,

I always thought police procedure was to yoink the keys straight out - hence the problems they had with frying turbos on the turbo Cordias. I dunno, its been awhile since I've been pulled over........
