So yeah last night, I was out with a few mates in a mates car and any way he got pulled over by the police. They asked to see his licence and then asked why he didn't have a P plate on the back and he said it must of blown off. So anyway the cop told him to put one on and i said i would do it cos the plates are in the back of his car. So i grabbed one and open my door to get out and this other cop goes "what do you think your doing?, get back in the car" and then i said how the other cop said i could put the plate on the back. So then he said 'i dont care!' and kicked the door closed. He actually kicked the door shut. Then the cop at the drivers window talking to my mate gave him a breath test. After this my mate asked why he had been pulled over and the cop got all defensive and started saying do you wanna push the issue and my mate said no, he was just interested in why he had been pulled over. So the cop says its a random breath test hence the word random and then walked off. Like these cops were the biggest cock heads on a power trip just picking on a car full of young people.

What do you' think?, has anyone else had any bad experiences with smart ass cops?

Sounds a little over the top, particularly if those in the car weren't giving "attitude". The fact that they kicked the door shut is a bit strange.

I think they would prefer people to stay in the car to reduce the chances of the officer being assulted or injured.

Once they have driven off, you can get out of the car :)
