I know what your saying and agree, but the point I'm making is they (Ford) have continually stated that there would be no AU3.....

My car was ordered in Aug however (Ford) cannot produce it until Oct. ( I still have not been advised why)... I'm sure there is some reasonable explaination.

What irks me is that if production of the AU3 commences in Nov then an AU2 purchased new now would be considered a runout model...

Just feeling a bit let down on this one !!!!

Minge, I Emailed Ford on Monday and I received a Phone call from them yesterday. The guy from Ford Customer Service advised that marketing have advised him that there would be no changes to the XR range other than badging.... I asked if I would receive this info in Email form but was advised that the info on the AU3 was being held very close to the chest and I was lucky to be given what I was...

Not that it effects my car but I now here that the XR8 will include a Rebel body kit....

Doc is checking out the production date of my car for me..

I just don't like being bull sh ited to thats all....

I too hear that tha the 3 will have the rebel body kit!

Those bloody.....................! I would request all in writting!

If not get the dealer prinicpal where you brought the car to put it in writting!

I found it interesting that this so called lie to the press was an attempt to find out how secure Ford is with its information.

Claims like "Ford leaks like the", I don't think are founded when the Barra project and engine news are very hard to come by.
