Political or Election Threads

I realise that it is a hot topic now but as these threads always deteriorate, we are not permitting any as per the Site T O C.
This isn't censorship, just the avoidance of the inevitable flame wars/

Re: Political or Election Threads

Very unfortunate, and I suppose this shall canvass any discussion on road revenue raising tactics.

I am very weary of this decision.

Re: Political or Election Threads

As these discussions have a 100% record of turning to poo, they are not being allowed

>>>Do not make posts that incite arguments, or any post that turns to arguments and flame wars, etc... Posts of this nature will not be tolerated and can result in the immediate closing or deletion or editing of the post and the banning of the postin..... <<<

I am sure there are plenty of other places to have that discussion.. you are more than welcome to go to them to have your say. This is a car related site and speeding enforcement tactics ( revenue raising ) is a legitimate issue. We have only acted in those cases that have gone off the rails.. which thankfully have been historically rare.
