should start a poll to see what xr6/xr8/gl/gli/futura/fairmont/ghia/fairlane/fairlaneghia/ltd variants people drive.

added my lovely EB.. which needs more go fast gear, but i'll do that after the stereo now. bye bye ford premium sound!

Well most common at least.

It might have been better to group styles together, for example

(XK, XL, XM, XP)

(XR, XT / XW, XY)

(XA, XB, XC)

(XD, XE, XF (XG/H?))

(EA, EB, ED)

(EF, EL)

I think Ford got lazy with the AU naming convention, either that or they had more to worry about, like sales.

This gives AU a bias in this poll.
(AU, AUII, AUIII) = AU

Or simply split the AU range, EF was a 2 year model, as was EL, AU I was somwthing like 18 months, AU II/III combined was about 2 years.

AU was from September 98 to September/October 2002? So that means the EA in its various forms was around longer doesn't it?

AU I was Sept 98 to Apr 00, then AU II was up to about Mar 02, AU III finished in Oct 02.

EA was Feb 88 till Jul 91 so 3 1/2 years, AU combined was nearly 4 years
