it's the rage: pop-up windows.
****, even microsoft is doing it now. it's really easy to pop that javascript in there whenever you open or close windows, or even click on certain links, or move your mouse over certain spots.
it's a really lame attempt to get page hits for search engines and other hit counters. to me, it's just hacker crap. i hate it.
i only use
js to enhance my website, not shove it down your throat.
get yourself a pop-up killer. i've got one on my machine now that doesn't even let me open up a second browser window unless i bypass it. pretty cool.
