Hey, were any of you down at St Kilda Beach at around 1:30 this afternoon?

If you were you would have seen a car matching the following description:

Blueprint BA
Big tough looking bonnet bulge
Car bras front and rear
Low and menacing stance.

Could it have been an FPV or did I just see an XR8?

There were (predictably, first warm sunny Sunday in Melbourne for a while!) about a zillion people at St Kilda today so I think it was a carefully planned "teaser" by Ford rather than someone sneaking a prototype out for a cruise.

possibly was a GT???? how low, if it was really low, and had MASSIVE mags then possible it will be a GT. If the mags were like 18 inch jobbies, then XR8.

Couldn't tell what size wheels he had from where I was. Probably 18's.

It was low but not stupid low, if you nkow what I mean. Sort of like the new M3, only tougher.

yep sounds like XR8 - i dont think they would take GT down beach road on a sunny day...unless it was a planned teaser (doubtful though id reckon)

but then if its an XR8 (been released) why would it have the bra's on it hmmmmmm

Hey guys
I was in Williamstown this afternoon and saw a Blue XR with this huge buldge on the front bonnet and dammm it looked sweet and yes it had the front and rear masked up and a set of huge ass wheels :-) I got to tell u that if i worked at holden selling the new " Magnadores " LOL i would be very worried !!!

It was coming out of a side street in Williamstown next to those commision flats , i wasnt exactly sure but i think it had side skirts ? i was driving my sti rex and saw it the last minute as i was passing but too much traffic to do a u-turn hah ? LOL
