He should've just hit the rabbit. Like I was always told.... when coming across a small animal, it's either its life or yours. I know which one i'd choose and I am sure he does to now

Bah. Rabbits are fun to run over
Last time we got a rabbit was with the undercarriage. I love superlows.
Put the body in a Maccas bag and took it home for the missus, boy was that funny! "here love, got ya a feed while we were out"
"oh than-AAAAGH!!" hehehehe

Perhaps it was the easter bunny ?

Probably more chance of swerving for the easter bunny than the "rabbit" that caused this accident.

He's obviously not a farmer, they run over them and then back back over the them! It is a natural reaction to swerve, but people need to realise that it is better to hit the stupid animal. Even if it is a little bit bigger than a rabbit, you still hit it. A car can always be fixed (although in this guys case it may take a fair while) but it is much harder to fix a human.

Yeah, Ive just been out west this weekend and the RTA has ads on the radio saying its better to hit animals on the road than swerve to avoid them.

Well Mal, I know what happened when my brother swerved to miss a roo in his laser. Absolute total mess.

Re: Possum story over again.. Pics...Lucky...

Yep, I'm saying that just bcoz the last time I ran into a roo was in a rental Pajero....absolutely demolished the bull bar (which unfortunately punctured the radiator)!!! And of course the roo was reduced to pulp...had some on the windscreen too....so it wasn't pleasant (for an animal lover like me)....LOL If that happened to a Pajero with a bullbar, I can't imagine what would happen to a Falcon...

If he'd hit the rabbit....he would have probably just had panel damage.

I had an accident a few years ago with a person who slammed on the brakes for a little dog that ran across the road.

Well, not being a very experienced driver at the time, I slammed on the brakes, the wheels locked, and .........bang!

Fortunately it was only panel damage for me, and a broken tail-light for him (bloody volvo drivers)
