Its late in the afternoon, your sitting in the West Wing of Ford HQ, 10 executives are sitting around a large table, you have been invited in to make 1 suggestion as to the 2006 model release of the next Ford range.
What would it be?
For me., I would like to see a fully electronic dash incorporating Full Sat Nav.
I'd like one car out of tickford that is absolutely powerful.even if it sells 1 car per year! The rest of us will be very happy in falcons and XRs.
Laminge you'll get the same thoughts we posted before?!!!!
And yeah, no oil consumption holden-style.Ford built tough is the policy.I'm sure Ford are looking after that, good on you fellas, every ford driver is just happy about his car.
Ahhh Prob get same replies., however., after motor show I saw some grest cars., some great improvements, you carnt blame me for being interested again!
It's a good thing that Ford are actually listening to us:)
Can't figure out any thing extra than what you guys at Ford doing!Great cars already here, better cars to come, quality is good, durability no question about it.
CAN YOU BRING ON THAT TURBO LASER???I really liked it.
2) Devise a marketing scheme that covers all the main bases - from the near subliminal (V8 Supercars etc) to TV and printed media advertisments - and keep these coming. The key to learning is repitition, for the consumer to learn that the Falcon is a better product than the Commodore, the adverts must be aimed at the lowest common denominator etc.. after a while, it'll come good :)
If I may have the floor for a moment, I'd like to suggest the following.
I believe that our Ford customers would like have more individual choice for ergonomics of their particular vehicle.
For example as we know, there are a broad range of body shapes and sizes, so why don't we offer a range of 3 seats and appropriate seating positions to suit a wider range of people. Customers can choose to have the standard seat or for a nominal charge, be "fitted out" for their seat size at the dealers.
This can be incorporated into the performance range of vehicles by offering a "performance" style seat with additional lateral support (aka along the lines of current aftermarket "racing" style seats) or the existing "sports" model based on what we have now.
I conclusion, whilst it may need to be a cost option across the 2006 Falcon range, I believe that by being more flexible in giving the customer more choice, that we in turn will appeal to a broader customer base and in turn offset any additional cost to our company.
