Hot Ef

duno what everyone else thinks, but i am actually getting better economy out of normal unleaded in my EF than premium unleaded. Even when i drive carefully. i would have thought it would be the other way around??

i am getting about 12.5 litres per 100 km. wot is evryone else getting, just as a comparison???

I was running premium in my ED for a couple of months and noticed no difference to performance or economy. Mum used the car one day and filled it up with normal unleaded. I didn't know that at the time. But as soon as I drove it, the response was incredible!

Now I get fuel from Mobil/BP who seem to have the best fuel for my car.

I have only really used premium for long trips at higher speed, gives everything a bit of a clean, and you do notice the economy difference, but otherwise around town I have found no real gains, in fact I feel the same that it just costs more, unless ya planting ya foot at every set of lights, use normal around town and premium for touring.

since the price of petrol is back down lower i've been thinking of running some premium (a few tanks) just to give it a clean out
