Just imagine a sleeker version of the old car (non ugly lights model ). I do think the new look was a bad thing but the aftermarket modded lights (the little ones used on the current rally cars) don't look too bad so something along this line might be ok????
That sounds like some major reskinning. It appears from that article that prodrive played a part in the look of the STi which IMO looks great.I have been to the showrooms and looked them over and they are very nice. Can't wait to see what they come up with.
BBF: did you like the look of that sti whcih i sent pics for you to make smaller?
I didn't mind it, I still think the rally version looks better, maybe all the stickers and all? (that is one car that dont deserve to be called rice)
I still think the best performing ans best looking WRX of all time was the STi 22B.

yeah cobra i do like the new STi. I have seen a few on the road and they look good to me although i like the older model too. The older model looks lower to the ground and meaner but i would own a new STi in a flash.I agree about the 22B .That is one mean machine.I looked at a used 22B here in a showroom but the price was around $95000.00.

yeah the new Sti has dropped it's price, it's now the same price as a Clubsport and TE50, but would own them both on the track. Looks like poo though, I don't like it without that big rear wing.
Christ that's alot of money for a used STi, but I suppose they were worth over 100k new, and there's only 5 in Australia in beleive.

I would guess there would only be 1 or 2 22B's here in NZ.I don't think there were bugger all made in the first place. It is a special car.
