Anybody know which Fords will they replace them with - Transit Sprinter style or F-Series current GMC style?

Interesting stuff. When the Merc Ambo was first used here in WA, the drivers said they were heaps better than the F150's, hnadling wise, driver comfort, useability etc.

I reckon go the F series again, how many times have you seen an F series drive up over a median strip/curb etc - these parcel van ambulances can't do that.

In South Oz they only went for the tall euro vans because of OH&S so they can move around inside the van easier.

And the gov't reckoned they were cheaper to fit out.

An F-series Ambo would cost a hell of a lot more! I see the point with the vans though, you can actually stand in them, where the F-truck, well maybe they can fit somthing that you actually can stand in!?

One of my mates old man is an Ambo, he was saying he prefers the old F Series ambos over the Transit and Mercs.
