everything else (ability to install near on anything you want ie Make it a linux box, play divx movies and any other media, copy games to the Hard drive, install larger drive, networked gameing, online gaming, graphics, sound, DVD playback) - Xbox.

Actually, the PS2 in mine and my friends experience has worse reliability than the M$ xbox. The DVD drive has problems, so much so that you have to baby it around if you want to carry it to a friends house for a link up.
In the end it comes down to PS2 will have GT4, and Xbox won't. It's up to you.

ive got a playstation and haven't had any problems.also you cant get vice city on xbox(this game is awesome).i like the game cube to.its just starting to get some good games out know(metroid prime now & zelda soon)
Ugh.. I have known five people with six different PS2s. After awhile the drive starts to clunk and the game freezes up every now and then because of a "disc read error" :/
And I didn't even take mine out of my house! It stayed in the one place from the time I got it to the time it left the house.
