I think it's got to do with the 'got married' thread. There are lots of people on here (generally) that seem to use the forum as a replacement for MSN messenger or similar programs - me included, to some degree. Of course, when it gets out of hand, it needs to be reigned in (which sometimes happens, and sometimes doesn't).

What exactly do you mean?

It is a car forum, and car related chatter is in the right spots, but there are sections here that also encourage general non car related chatter?

I agree Laminge. While i wasnt one of the originals of FF when i first came here about 2 yrs ago it was cars and bloke humuour. While it's still that, you more so have to sort through the shit and totally pointless posts of some members (no, not the DM's..) to get to the good stuff. Thats not to say i dont like the site anymore, i still use it most days and find it as addictive as ever!
I think it's more a case of newer members writing posts for the sake of writing and seeing their name on the screen, but you could also look at as Ford becoming more popular, as well as this site.

John, it's a good idea of you to put different DM parts in here, it would be good to organise cruises, meets in here to limit the public seeing everything we're up to, and also to talk about stuff that may be sensitive to the outside too

I post heaps, some probably is crap. If it’s put in the appropriate area e.g.: pub asylum etc: should be ok..

what is a problem is sticking to thread issue, a lot of people do it me included, someone starts something then a few posts later we are talking about some thing else…

like I have done now…

Maybe we are starting to use this site for entertainment purposes as well as a car Forum.

Ohh I like that idea of diff sub forums

I am just not happy with the quality of some of the jokes, which really should be either on smut.com or so forth
