Hey People,

Just wondering on the best way to safely remove badges off ones Ford. I wish to replace the Ghia badges with the Tickford Wings. I have heard anything from screw drivers to hair dryers.............

Any help much appreciated.............

A good solvent will help wonders. It helps dissolve the adhesive. Just be careful which one you use 'cause I'm sure you don't want to ruin the paint work.

Best way is to carefully use thin fishing line to remove the badge, and use something like that orange-based goo remover to help remove the remaining adhesive.

I heat it up with a hairdryer before using one of those plastic scrapers bakers use to cut through the adhesive. Some kero will help soften the left over adhesive. Result: no scratches and no badges :D
