I am wondering why Nissan got kicked out of the series before it was called the super v8's.......

Also why do holdens run Ford 9' diff's

I am only very young but want to learn & would like to learn from you guys

basically because theyes no diff stronger than the Ford 9'Diff, as well as it comes in a wide variety of ratios.

Nissan got booted cos they changed the rules. Nissans were turbocharged.

Ratio is gearing in the diff / final drive.. 2:7 to one is high geared as in low revs / high speed. Then say 4:1 to one is more for accelleration or for pulling heavy loads. You will notice drag cars rev hard at low speeds for they have low gearing[high ratio numericaly] They are made that way to accellerate hard..

Nissan got booted because of its twin turbo car - the r32 Skyline gtr. It was just too quick for the locals, and ford and holden had their whinge and its become the boring sport its become today with its regulation engine and tyres. v8rutes is much more interesting. ford won 1 2 3 for the last one apparently.....
