I am in my final year of a part-time Marketing degree at uni and I have lost confidence and motivation with one of my subjects. The dreaded subject is Business Statistics... Maths/Stats aren't my strengths but considering it's near the end I want to be able to finish this year.
So my question is, is there anyone here that is a bit of a genius at Stats that can give me some pointers/tutoring etc? I will pay $ to anyone who helps resulting in me getting through this traumatic subject.
Business stats is deadly boring, but fairly simple. Hey - at least you get to take in all the formulae with you to exams etc.!!

Mate, i feel for you.
I did that last year in my accounting course. That was the worst subject. Its so boring and the formulas dont make any sense.
Luckily i scraped by with a mark of 50 for the semester.
Now i have business finance which is just as bad.
Business stats...dude it sucks but you've gotta keep with it....i got a conceded pass (a 3) for stats A but for second year stats i got into it and got a 6 (a distinction). Wierd hey?
At my uni we had peer assisted study sessions which were like having a second tute every week. it made the work load heaps easier.
Usually the best idea is just to do heaps of the tute questions cos i can assure you that questions of this difficulty will be on the exam. So if you learn how to do them then you're set. My high school maths teacher used to say, "To get to your destination, don't learn how the car works, just know how to drive it." Learn the process and just do it.
Good luck and btw i've given up on most of my subjects this semester. Could not give 2 shits about uni right now and i've only got 6 months to go!!! OH NO!
Thanks Ken, yep it is the hardest by far. It's my second go at it. Problem with my uni is that there have been staff cut-backs and more students.
