definatly front wheel drive. I have changed many timing belts and it would be much easier if they were rear wheel drive. Nice cars though

Yes there definitly a front driver and share all the mechanicals and running gear with the sister car the MX6.

Engine is a 2.5L V6 Mazda engine making 121kw, basically the same engine as the 626 V6 they use to offer.

One of the more shapely mid sized coupe around. Much much better than the Honda Prelude that still looks pretty ugly to this day.
