Quite a stench
Recently we were on a road trip and about a half a gallon of milk got turned over and spilled all over the floor and carpeting of my pickup. I tried to sop it up with paper towels, but a lot got left, and also worked its way underneath the door sills. We were on vacation and left it for a week sitting in the sun where it baked. Needless to say, once we went back and opened up the doors, you could almost see a cloud of stench come out. We ended up driving the 3 hr drive home with about $15 of air fresheners and the windows wide open in the pouring rain. After we got home, I had to pull the door sill off and even pull the carpeting up to clean all the mold out. I guess the moral is if you're going to buy milk and travel with it (we have kids), GET A SCREW TOP!
