Interestingly I have only just got back from test driving these Merc Auto Tranies in the AMG range. Sorry sir no manual in these cars. Putting up pictures shortly.

and as a side note "why would you want to discontinue the T name when both the TE and TS are receiving such high acclaim. Build on it Ford don't try to re invent the wheel yet again!!!!

300 km/h wtf is this true?

"The TE50’s clearly tough gearbox seems to have four short gears to impress your mates with the acceleration and then a long, long 38 per cent overdrive fifth gear to save you money through lower fuel use on the highway. Expect less than 10 li/100 km performance. Fourth is still good for more than 180 kmh but fifth stretches to a notional 300 kmh so it is lazy and comfortable on the highway. Fifth gear is little use at speeds of 60 kmh or below."

I think they were just saying 5th gear is overdriven and okay for highway cruises.. TS50 T3 runs out to 240-250kmph or something like that.
