Hi People.

I am writing a radio ad for Falcon XR, and I need some ideas!

Can anyone out there help me out to make an attractive ad for the XR(6 & 8).

Serious Ideas only please!
I will post up the final radio ad (mp3) when its done!

-Sound of ignition here-
"There's something that's making spines tingle..."
-Sound of engine reving-
"There's something that's gonna make you think twice about your next new performance car..."
-Sound of car taking off. A bit of tyre squeel, gear changes-
"So what is the best performance car in Australia? The XR6? Or the XR8?"
-We have ignition sound here. And other current Ford jargon-
-Fade out-
-second of silence. makes you think the ad is finished... then...-

"There's something that's gonna leave a mess on your driveway..." (same voice, deeper 'aggressive' tone)
-Sound of engine reving, clutch dropping, tyres squeeching on tarmac"

Concentrate on revving engines and/or screaching tyres!
That's be a good combination. Just something to go up against the HSV ad. I'd love to smoke my Holden friends with it. :flame:

2nd and better attempt at an XR8 ad. The Fat Boy Slim song. 'bird of prey' has been mixed with an XR8 revving followed by the sound of a 302 mustang taking off (didn't have one for an xr8). It ends with "Falcon xr8 now charged with 220kw", with lightning in the background. The voice was synthesised with MS Talk it. The wave file was mixed using just the standard win2000 sound recorder!

I like the current XR8 commercial but why the hell can't you here the V8, surely that would be a selling point to people that love the traditional V8 note.
