Do people buy stuff like this, for that much, in hopes of it being a investment that only gets bigger, or do they actually just want to be able to bring their drinking buddies to see it?

In other words, what makes a person spend that much on a car their not going to drive, and if they do, it's like once or twice a year.

Don't understand it myself, why would you spend that much if you're just going to use it for a paperweight?

Got a few friends with old classics , but not in that price range . They do use them but spend a lot, lot more time cleaning them after doing so . That would spoil it for me .
