Rare Falcon spotted at Winton - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

In the carpark at Winton was a Dick Johnson Grand Prix Turbo XE Falcon . It had been painted black and was in pretty poor condition , i nearly cried....some people shouldnt be allowed to own a car at all !!

This was a mega rare car , even when new. They had the following features:
Royal (?) Blue paintwork
250 turbo (garrett t4)
5 speed
BBS wheels (even they had their centres painted black instead of gold !!)
Scheel interior
Full body kit including "squared off" wheel arch flares.

I still cant believe it , i was hanging around to see if the owner new what he had and if he wanted to sell it , but i had to go home coz the nephews were getting restless...dammit

It astounds me when I see a car I know of let go to ruin, and you just want to go up to that person and shake them. Don't people realise how much money and time goes into keeping a car ship-shape?

Bloke wrote into the local paper requesting that people stop washing their cars as it is a waste of water. Wonder if he's stopped taking showers?

i saw one of these for sale somewhere, think it might have been in the trading post. He wanted $17k i think...

I saw an XYGT in sydney years ago parked in the rocks , it had a big peice of perspex over the sunroof hole held down with silastic.
The sunroof was wound open.
