Rego

Well, rego is comming up for my car soon enough :(

Who here has a health-care card and how much did they take off the rego fees with that card?

Last year I paid $160 less, but this year it looks like I only save $80 - and just like last year, my head gasket has gone again.. why do cars cost so damn much? :(

Re: Rego

Yeah that sucks! They changed the thing just after I got rego. I think rego prices went up something like $11 as well, they go up every year.

How much you pay all together Bozza?

Re: Rego

Yeah... rego went up $3 for the year, TAC im not sure how much it went up, and anyone with concession lost $80 off their discount.

Re: Rego

Hrrm

People who earn so much that they don't even notice rego only pay $80 more than people who barely earn enough to pay for petrol each week (but NEED a car because they live in a remote location).. damn you government!

Re: Rego

Yeah well that's just another reason to vote Steve Bracks out.

And for those who are seen as very poor, get a 50% discount with holding a pensioners concession.

Re: Rego

The rego will keep going up coz its indexed to the CPI every year, so its just like compounding interest. Thanks Bracks, another reason why I won't be voting for you when the time comes.
