As most of you people are Aussies, you may not have heard of Sir Peter Blakes murder early this morning, Sir Peter was on his boat somewhere in the Amazon river (I think), where he was shot dead by robbers. He was a hero in NZ, and was one of the world's most famous sailors, because he skippered team NZ to win the America's cup off America to be one of only the second teams to have ever done that. NZ at the moment is still in shock as we come to terms with what has happened.

Pritesh, it made the news here in Oz, I heard it this morning. Although not being a household name in Oz (as I imagine it must be in NZ) I didn't really understand the significance.

Thanks for the explanation of who this guy was.

Just ran the story on the news. Very sad to see that sort of thing happen, no matter who the guy was. A terrible loss
