Retraction - Re Prof Ian Johnston

In a previous thread, I had made a statement that Prof Ian Johnston from the MUARC in Vic had admitted to been have caught speeding on 3 occasions by a camera. This is incorrect, the quote should have read Professor Max Cameron.

http://bulletin.ninemsn.com.au/bulle...9?OpenDocument

"One of the key areas of debate is deterrence versus enforcement. Professor Max Cameron, a researcher with Monash University's Accident Research Centre, argues that a covert camera system works best, adding that "some Australian states seem almost apologetic to motorists".
Cameron, who concedes he has been caught by speed cameras three times, says that since the introduction of the cameras, the number of crashes involving injury in urban areas has dropped by 30%."

Sorry for the mistake, will ensure that this does not occur again.

Apologies to Prof Johnston.

Re: Retraction - Re Prof Ian Johnston

I still await apologies from Vic TAC for their mistakes, misleading statements, and downright lies in their statements and advertisements.
