Dodge plans to come out with a new sedan early next year under a name loyal Aussies will quickly recognise-Charger.
Trevor Creed, chief designer of Chrysler, Dodge's parent company, would not comment about the Charger but confirmed " a fast Dodge V8 was on the way. We are looking at a very sporty version of the 300c platform for Dodge"
Chrysler Australia spokesman Simon Johnson said "the company was unaware of any plans to bring back the Charger but would be interested such a model"
Interesting !! Having a Charger against Monaro ? I'd like too see that !!
Damn. Not too shabby at all. Always liked the shape of the R/T Chargers and the Challengers. Maintains the look while has the modern shape, I'd take one over a Monaro any day of the week.
The concept had a supercharged 4.7 V8, but it seems logical the production version would use the Hemi 5.7L V8 as in the 300C, next Jeep Grand Cherokee, current Ram and Durrango
a couple of points to remeber is that this car IS going into production for the U.S market and there is no plans to export it here in the foreseable future.
also you may want to know that it is a 4 door sedan and will NOT be made as coupe either. another car with an old muscle car name that really has nothing to do with its heritage at all.

Don't try to disappoint us, the Dodge brand will be here next year, and they have a lot more planned than just the Dodge Neon, I would expect the Charger here - it may be 4 doors, but it looks like a coupe
