as some of you may have seen on the news, rex hunt decided that he needed to take airport security (or lack of) into his own hands and make the point that the security is crap. well done rex!! its not like we all didnt know this before you grabbed a hand full of QANTAS forks and jammed them in your bag to take them for a nice cruise on a plane.
well you got busted BEFORE you got the opportunity to take your security breach to the management at the end of your journey so you could make your point. guess security really ISNT that relaxed like you thought!
very pleasing to see you looking nervous as shit on the news and for once you really were lost for words and just kept saying the same thing.
and the most disturbing bit was the reporter saying that he was treated like any other ordinary person would be in such a case...only that no charges would be laid.
Oooppps guess everyone else that got charged for far less security breaches will be pleased to know that they are not ordinary folk after all.

my brother who is what i would call a regular traveler by planes got stopped by security for having a razor in his carry on lugage not trying to defend him but when your told at 10 am to go home and pack for a week overseas and your plane leaves at 4pm you pack in a rush, and he just put his toiletries in his carry on stuff, he didnt make a scene over it let them take it and all was good.
on a different note i know of a knife shop that use to be located in sydney dont know if it is still there and cant remember its name, think it was on george St, any way they sold wooden knifes and swords i asked how sharp they were it cut through a sydney phone book like a hot knife through butter, size ranged from hide it in your pocket (read small) to full blown sword size. the fact that these exist scares me

he's saying there is a lack of security but he got searched before he entered and then went and grabbed a handfull of forks. how can security be that bad if they search people. dont really know what he's on about this time.
the security breach is that they let him on the plane in the first place instead of telling him to piss off.
