I know 'ricers' are the stupid fools who drive around in crap hatchbacks with shiny 'dinner plates' attached to the wheels (which are worth more than the car itself and look stupid) but i dont get why they are called 'ricers'?

I think ricer came from the term rice burner, which was use for the import 4 cyl gas savers that came from china/japan which is where they eat alot of rice.

now a days the term rice is mostly used to discribe the over the top style mostly seen in the import cars. the HUGE wings, a million stickers, stuff like that. But any car can be riced out, not just imports.
