Ricers and culture

I was watching a vid I downloaded in another thread and I got to wondering about ricers and the role they play. I mean, I reckon they're adorable, I'd love one as a pet. They're like those kids you used to see at school who'd try real hard to fit in but would seem to just miss the point. They're cute little suckers. Real wannabies and I wouldn't want to see them dissappear. They make me laugh and I just want to squeeze them and pat them. God knows, they'd hurt themselves probably die off if we don't protect them.

Anyhow, if car culture has ricers, what do other cultures or groups have as an equivalent?

Computer gaming culture has all those people who started playing due to Counter-Strike.

Re: Ricers and culture

The V8 culture has the bogan part to it.

Computer culture has the people who got a bit carreid away with the mos and started watercooling their PCs.

And one of the worst is the "suburban culture", where the people who live in the 'burbs get a bit too carreid away and start making commitees on everything, slapping speed humps and S-bends in every street, etc.

Re: Ricers and culture

Ford Forums culture is highly addictive & leads to people discussing other 'foreign cultures'.
Probe culture (www.probetalk.com) has the ability to hold people in its grasp for longer than sanity allows.

Unfortunately I know all too well just how addictive Probetalk can be. I don't think I'll ever really recover.

Re: Ricers and culture

You'd need to own a Probe to get hooked I suppose.
