After a little event this morning at around 3.30am I was just wondering how would you guys handle it?

Police?
Ignore?
Chase?
etc...

I'm a big chicken, I would ignore it in an attempt not to escalate the situation, alternatively I would look for my nearest police station, assuming I could find one open that is.

Care to share a little more about this mornings episode minge?

Beats me why, but a famous name brand car, with idiot driver decided to smoke em up in front of me at lights.

I flashed him, and he decided to play chicken, usual finger out window, abusive language.. I just rolled down windows and laughed out loud at him... seemed I upset him more as he decided to brake hard, take up both lanes etc...

Normally I just get out of car but all i could do was laugh...

Finally when we stopped at lights he jumped out and ran around to my drivers window.

With windows down and me in tears he was going right off.

A cigarete light and the can of cleaner i keep in the car soon forced him off..

Got rego and reported to cop station, but alas the poor buggers are way to busy. Even the young copper said its hard to keep your cool these days and probably is best just to ring 000 and find out where closest police station is.

ROFL, Gary you just attract this sort of idiot don't you!!. Aside from sitting on him, throwing coins at him, etc, I believe we now have a new benchmark.......flame thrower!!.

In all honesty though I think that you can either laugh about the whole thing or cry about it. Bit of reverse psychology as you have proved has worked well in this case.

Runs off to look for lighter and propellant for next road rage incident.........................................

Funnily enough I haven't actually had any dramas once the offender has actually confronted me! Plenty will start with the usual middle finger / verbal assault, but none of them to date has wanted to escalate things!

My normal reaction is to either collapse in tears of laughter, or blow them a kiss.... works a treat!!

LOL me too.

I had one clown follow me all the way to the police station and even as far as the front door on foot.

Which was good for me as the desk serge saw the idiot and made a point of sending someone round to his place, apparantly not the first time for this particular hot head.

I was quite shocked that the police was a real option.... (then I read your experience).

I had a guy pull a handgun on me near bexley in Sydney and reported it to the Police. No action was ever taken.

I now ignore fools like this and simply wind up my windows and lock the doors. If they want to escalate things they should know that I have won many a motorkhana and will gladly smear them with my FPV bumper.

Believe it or not laughing at them is probably the best thing you can do, better than any violence, just seems to agitate them more but i would only bother reporting it if they actually touch me or my car.

How do you find them Laminge?lol.

It happened to one of my mates once.
A car full of guys were tailgating him and following him everywhere, getting out at the lights and banging on his window and whatnot he was pretty shaken up cos they wouldnt leave him alone. We all live in the same area so he rang a few of us(4 cars) and we met out the front of a local school on a main hwy and waited till he drove past. We ended up boxing the other car in and stopping. The dickheads in the other car were laying eggs. My hassled mate left then we all left one by one. The other car didnt follow.
They were a bunch of wankers. Why would you hassle someone like that for no reason.
Road rage is bad.
