4X4 Australia March issue ,has an interesting article on driving in USA. They drove a Chevy Trailblazer across America.
What they found interesting was :
"We passed dozens of Highway Patrol vehicles and, if you were maintaining your speed in the line of traffic (sometimes 10-15mph-over the stated limit) they ignored you. The highest speed we cruised at was 90mph, in west Texas, the slowest was 60mph.
Fuel stations and motels are 30-50 miles apart.
The most popular bumper sticker was "God Bless America" and "Support Our Troops"
They saw huge 4X4's towing motor homes, 6 and 8 stand horse floats.
Ford Expeditions, Dodge Rams, dual wheel F250's popular.
Maybe our cops could learn a thing or two from the Highway Patrol!!
