Hi Fellow members i thought i would let you guys and girls know today, myself, Philstoj, Hamo, Rod and family we all went down to Heathcote for the Sunday test and tune day.
Rod rocket went down the strip in his little Chevy Monza in a ET:10.50 @ 128 MPH, on the limiter, it was the 1st full pass he has done in the stinky little Methanol burning beast.
bit slow on the 60 footer and raise the limiter a little so it dont miss fire down the strip, we well see a 9 sec pass shortly i am sure...
After 1 more practice at Heathcote Rods taking it to Calder for some fun...
so well done Rod it was a fun day, thx to the guy's and girls that helped us today...OFR WE OWN THE TRACK
PS: i think Rod needs to give this car a name any idea's...
I went past a few car's on the way back from Melbourne today, that looked like they came from there,I should have called in on my way,I seen a real nice XY GT in green, did you see that one there, how'd it go.

Greetings Mark & thanks for your help & also to everyone else there that pitched in to help
it was a shame about the meeting being closed early because of the expected rain as i was about to lift the limiter a little from 6200 up to 6700 to see what we could acchive, the car was ready to go fueled up & the driver was fired up must be the methanol fumes
there is always next time, i have set the limiter low so that i can get used to driving the car & should something go wrong i have less chance on hurting the engine than if it was running all the way up to 8000 Rpm
we managed to get 4 runs in for the day
first run ( shake down pass )
11.1701 @ 109.28 ...... i was shakeing & the car went down the track lol
second pass
10.5631 @ 125.66.. turned the tyres a little out of the hole
third pass
11.7303 @ 108.96.. blew the tyres big time out of the hole & againg mid track
fourth pass
10.5061 @ 128.46.. by far the best pass the car has gone & was on the limiter from just after mid track
regards
rod
& thanks again for all the help guys & gals
