there's very little information as of yet, but it seems that Ford is working with K1-engineering of the Czech republic to bring a roadster to the US. Ford supposedly helped their company in europe and in doing so has helped create what could possibly be the most fearsome looking vehicle made today. the car is a mid-engine, rear wheel drive vehicle with a very low center of gravity, engine options include a four cylinder and a V6, the car is so far unavailable with an automatic transmission.

yeah its pretty small, i hear there's even an option to have the entire car body made of carbon fiber

no, not reliable sources, but that's why i used the term "rumors." Granted it's a small car, but its definitely fast, its a competitor to those small sports cars like the Lotus Elise or that saturn sky

Well it could be a good move. A smaller more fuel efficient sports car might have a place in Ford's line up in USA or for that matter around the world.

Depending on price then it doesn't seem like such a crowded market area like the rest of the lineup that Ford is fighting for market share.
