Just wondering who here has bought themselves a POS just to save their pride and joy? I had been looking for that perfect car that is machanically good but I could never like it and yesterday I found it. It is a 91 pulsar and now I can wrap the XA in cotton wool and only take it out on Sunday's. Know I don't have to worry about all those d#@kheads at shopping centers or anywhere else that can damage it.

I have a POS as well as the Monty. We have a KA 1500 automatic Laser that refuses to return to the Earth no mater how hard I neglect it... Cheap hack car at least, doesn't drink premium!

i have a POS XE ute which i've run into the ground over 2 1/2 years cos i dont have a show car yet. i've always had 2 cars cos if you've got a spare you never need to use it. my spare is also a POS XF sedan both cars have had a blown head gasket for at least 6 months, they wont die cos i've got a spare motor ready.
i'm planning to get a nice car but it will be daily driven cos IMO thats the point, unless its a true show car or barely legal race car or rare as..

Cars are for driving. The only cars that should be put away and hardly driven are GT's and other such rare cars. Otherwise I dont get it. The car isnt going to appreciate atleast for a very, very long time.

got 1989 laser wagon for the dog. we take him to the beach and river and it doesnt matter if he gets sand and shit though the car. also useful for going to the shopping centre in and carting car parts. much better than ruining the falcon or sierra.

I bought myself a motorbike as a run around. It isnty registered yet but will a hoot when it is. Cheap as well. It should return 200km for a 12 litre tank. It will be cheaper than the turbo EB anyway when that is ready.
