Dear fellow forum members,

Nethead here!! Unfortunately I have some bad news (some may say it is good!!). I have been offered a new job as the Ford Regional Manager for Southern Region (Vic, Tas and Southern NSW). It's a great opportunity and I am really looking forward to it but I must say I will really miss my e-Business job. It's a great job and I have had a chance to work on some great projects like ford.com.au, My Ford and the newfalcon website (you'll love it).

I want to sincerely thank you all for giving us such great input on our various projects. You are all such passionate Ford lovers and it's great to hear what you think. We have implemented many of your suggestions and as a result our web efforts are a lot better.

The internet is truly a great medium. Never before have we been able to get such INSTANT feedback from our customers. Please keep it coming. You can rest assured that we do listen (many Ford employees, including the Boss(!), read with great interest).

The best news is that my replacement is far better than me!! His name is Phil Blewitt and I cannot speak more highly of him. He already reads 'the boards' and he has just registered as an official member. Look for pblewit1. Please give him all the help that you have given me - I know he is very keen to maintain the relationship.

Fear not, I will not disappear completely. I will continue to read the boards as net head!!

Again, thanks for all your help. This is going to be a great year for Ford and it's great that you will be part of it.

Dear Fellow Ford Forums Members

Let me introduce myself. I have been with the Company for 25 years and over the last 2 years I have worked in the eBusiness Department for David. I have now taken over his role as the eBusiness lead for Ford.

All I can say at this early stage is 'Keep the Feedback Coming'. We value the inputs from Ford Forum Members and the site is read widely across the Company.

The eBusiness group has been working on www.myford.com.au a personalised web site for Ford owners. Membership for this site grows daily and we have just commenced banner advertising on 9MSN Carpoint (appears when you search for a Ford). My Ford homepage also features a link to Ford Forums to allow members read the independent views of Ford owners.

Again looking forward to your comments and feedback.

Welcome aboard Phil! As Dave has probably told you, you can post anything you like on the boards and you will have instant feedback from some of Ford & Tickfords most passionate followers.
