The West Australian, Oct 1st, has the info on the new Sandman.
Holden By Design fits a canopy to the Ute, fabric lining, interior light,liftup rear glass, demisting rear window, lockable, emergency release mechanism,2 wedge shape flip out windows, near "B" pillar. Choice of 5 colours. This gives 2100 litres of lockable storage space. From the photo's in the paper, it is walk thru, from the front. 100000km warranty also. The picture of the SS Sandman is horn.
Holden By Design is fast becoming the ultimate custom design car company. A all wheel drive, V8 powered Sandman isn't out of the question.
Come on Ford don't let the bean counters stop you. If Holden can do it, so can you. !!

Yes, thats it. West Australian also had a photo of one in Hot House Green.
It might be a canopy on a Ute, but at least Holden give you the Panel Van,of sorts. Ford have nothing, as I said,imagine a Pursuit Ute done up like this.

Looks ridiculous!

Just looks like a smoother looking canopy.

I dont think Ford are going to loose any sleep over it.

Hopefully Ford are spending their money better else where. I'm sure if there is demand, an aftermarket company can do something...
