Hi all,

I'm in the market for a budget Sat Nav. Anyone had any experience with this one - See lowest price for Garmin Nuvi 255W Auto / Road GPS ? Are Garmin reputable?

I have the Nuvi 255w. I paid $119 usd at amazon and came with 1 free map update. Very good GPS. Has text to speech (will announce turns by the street/road name).Spoken turn by turn directions with different selectable voices. It re-routes you if you miss a turn. Map updates very fast/accurately. Battery life is good. Map update took me awhile to download though. It was right at 2.5GB. Go to Youtube and check out some videos of the Nuvi 255w.
