Saw a Lincoln LS

I was on my way to Ocean Grove with a mate, when my mate (who was driving) said, "what the hell is that?".

I turned to my right and the it was, a brand spanking new silver Lincoln LS with a huge "caution left hand drive" sticker on it.

And it looked awesome! At the time we were right out front of the Ford Stamping Factory.

Anyone got any clues to why it would be around here?

I know it could be a personal import, but I cant think of a place that would do a conversion for it?!

how good does it look on black!!

the only think that looked bad was some rather cheap looking indicators that are on the rear bumper.

Holden have one out here as an evaluation vehiclefor the DEW98 chassis.
Could also be a Ford evaluation vehicle..

It runs the same chassis as the '05 Falcon is rumoured to be going to..

Yeah gotta say i like the shape of the Lincoln LS, got an article on it from the November Car and Driver mag, i think the platform is shared with the Jaguar S Type and shares the same motor. The beuty about the Lincoln LS is that it's offered in a manual. :s6: :s6:

Will scan piccies if i have time at work tomorrow.

I really like this car. Had my eye on it for sometime, and was seriously considering it if I moved to the US (Costs about $US33k). The LS shares the same platform as the S-Type and Thunderbird. Would be cool for a Falcon if it is big enough, and don't worry, it's RWD. Sort of looks like a 3-series as well don't you think?
