Just driving past Ford in Geelong, and there was a black standard car without hubcaps (black steel wheels), and a Maroon Fairmont (nice wheels!I think 16s though). They look noticibly bigger! Almost longer!? and do have a really nice stance in the metal, looks better than the pics, even though these were all dirty!

Ill have a look every time i go past i think,lol.

Thumbs up for em I say!!

Has anyone else seen any yet?

I guess it would look bigger. The car seems to have a more confident stance - and more presence. The AU, in fairness, was actually designed to look smaller than it was. So was the VT Commodore.

Cobra, the techniques that AU and VT used included having the headlights closer together, more tapered front and rear ends, etc. To the untrained, a VT might look smaller than a VS in pictures!

I find the AU and VT are more round and jelly bean shaped things.

VS and EL are more like the BA. Flatter bootlid and quarrer looking. I see your point, sort of.

I don't think that the VS is like the BA, the VS does tend to look a bit rounded but it doesn't look nowhere as contemporary as the new BA Series Falcon.

You'd certainly hope so mate. The VS was basically a '93 model (no panel changes over VR) and the BA is a 2003 model.
