Scooters

Hey just wondering if anyone knows of a good place that stock Scooters in Melbourne.

I'm looking for a motorised one that is lightweight and can be folded and carried onto say a Tram or Train. I don't need an overfast one....I've seen some specs that go up to 40kmh (crazy!)... 20kmh would do me fine. I want an electric one as I don't like the BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ that the petrol/gas ones make.

Any help would be appreciated

Re: Scooters

Scooters are so wicked. I got the rolls royce of elec scooters from my boss for christmas. It goes about 20-25km/h, and has a range of about 50km. I reckon it would've cost about $600-700 easy.

I know its not much help really, but i just wanted to say!! I'll post some pics later tonight

Matt

Re: Scooters

Ummmmmmm i prefer the smalller stand on ones... some of them allow you to attach a seat but that isn't too important to me.

Main criterias are...in order of importance:

1) Small and light enough to carry onto Tram/Train.
2) Motorised. Electric preferrably for less noise.
3) Weight capacity. I weight 83kgs.
4) Speed. About 20kmh MAX will do.

The distance to and from the station is only about 2kms each way so battery life won't be a problem.

Any hints and tips would be great :)
