A total of 7,010 MGFs, produced between September 2000 and September 2001, are being recalled over a concern associated with the possible non-specified deployment of the seat belt pre-tensioners.
Owners of models in the affected VIN range are being informed by letter today and are requested to contact their local MG Rover dealership who will arrange for the remedial work, to be carried out, free of charge.

And just after I had been praising their efforts. Hope this isn't too a big of a set back
