Question Selling personalized plates

I got a set of plates that came with the ute, FTXR8. I have a guy that wants to buy them but have no idea what to sell them for. Are they worth anything? and roughly what $ should I ask for them?

Re: Selling personalized plates

I think the cheapest plates you can get now are about 350, though plates like that...hmm..and i'm guessing he has an XR8..u should be able to get 500 for them..

Re: Selling personalized plates

I rekon you should ask for $1ooo. If he is intrested in the plates and actually asked then he would know that they are worth a bit, i would ask for $1ooo and talk from there. Even advertise them in the tradingpost and see if anyone else bites, if not tell him someone offered a bit more than what he's willing to pay.

Re: Selling personalized plates

$1000 is dreaming, in my opinion. If he is willing to pay that, he really really wants them and good luck to you. If it was me, I'd be interested in paying up to one or two hundred over normal prices for a plate I really wanted, but I'd laugh at a thousand.

Good luck to ya.

Tim

Re: Selling personalized plates

Why have you got a ute now? Why did you get rid of the AU sedan? You only just got it!
